Taylan Arikan and Srdjan Vukasinovic draw unexpected soundscapes from the bağlama (Anatolian lute) and the accordion – far beyond what is typically associated with these instruments. Their original compositions draw from the depths of tradition and transform them into something contemporary and unheard. Between classical, jazz, and Southeastern European folklore, they create a style that refuses to be categorized yet seamlessly connects everything.

At times, Taylan Arikan enriches the music with vocal passages, paying homage to the bardic tradition of his Anatolian ancestors. The result is music deeply rooted in tradition, yet with a distinct, contemporary voice.
